Special "Kids & Herbs" Edition, Part 3

We're just a few days away from the BIG Kids & Herbs launch!

Below is the video lesson we promised you last week, "How to Make Elderberry Syrup."

It's from our Herbal Basics course on HerbMentor.com. Herbal Basics is the follow up course to our Herbal Medicine Making Kit.

This final lesson in this special HerbMentor News series covers a very important kids cold and flu remedy, elderberry syrup. If you are not into making your own remedies, you can purchase this syrup any herb shop or natural foods market.

That's what's cool about Kids & Herbs. It's for parents who are into making their own remedies, and also for those who would rather just go to the shop and buy the remedies pre-made.

In addition to the chai recipe we shared 2 issues ago, elderberry syrup is at the TOP of our cold and flu remedies for our kids.

"Kids & Herbs" is thoroughly explained

We did it!

After a few years of parents asking us to put together a simple course of HOW to use herbs with their kids, we finally created "Kids & Herbs: A Naturally Simple Course for Parents."

Kids & Herbs is a multi-part "webinar" series. A "webinar" is a seminar on the web. You'll get access to a special web site, where you will be able to access the course materials.

Let's get right to the details...

“What is Kids & Herbs?”

Kids & Herbs is a conversation between two parents who use herbs daily with their kids. I (John Gallagher) interview herbalist and mom Angie Goodloe, who shares her wisdom with us.

In these webinars, we cover...

  • Building a home apothecary
  • Herbs and remedies for cold and flu
  • Herbs for first aid (MORE DETAILS BELOW)

  • Each lesson also provides a foundation for parents on how to approach using herbs with kids. Common sense wisdom from parents who use herbs with kids is infused throughout the program.
  • There will be a bonus Q&A session as well.
  • 7 hours of instruction!

This course is NOT just for beginners. There are loads of gems for all experience levels.

There is a "Sneak Peak" Video Below!

The Format...

Kids & Herbs is located on a special web site for those who register for the class. Each lesson includes...

  • A streaming webinar video, which is a special slideshow designed for note taking.
  • Downloadable video webinars for slower connections or for later viewing.
  • Videos work seamlessly on iPod/iPhone, etc. for those on the go.
  • AUDIO mp3 download. Works great as just audio.
  • PDF transcript to aid listening/viewing.
  • Works for people on SLOW internet connections, such as dial up, or slower broadband like Clearwire. This is because we have downloadable options as well as audio only.
  • It is NOT a membership site with recurring fees like HerbMentor. There is only a one time fee.
  • 100% steaming/downloadable. Works on dial-up!
