Herbal Teleconference Download Page

All teleconferences have been saved to mp3 files. You can...

1) Click on the link and listen right away in front of your PC or Mac.

2) To download, RIGHT CLICK your mouse (on Mac, this is done by holding the CTRL key while clicking).

  • On Explorer for PC, select SAVE TARGET AS. (I had someone tell me it was "grayed out" on Explorer. They used FireFox and it worked. For others, Explorer has worked fine.)

  • On Firefox (PC/Mac), it will say SAVE LINK AS.

  • On Safari (Mac), it will say DOWNLOAD LINKED FILE.

Then you will have the option to name the file and save it where you want it.

The files are about 15mb each. They may take awhile to download on a dial up connection. Then, play it through your PC's mp3 program.

3) Once you have it downloaded, you can also burn it to a cd (my favorite way so I can listen in my car) or put it on your iPod (you can use the free iTunes for burning or for your iPod. PC's can get iTunes at itunes.com.)

Feel free to share the files!

Jessica Moore, of MooreNaturally.com, 11/8/06

She is a mom who has a passion for herbs. When her baby had a diaper rash, she whipped up an amazing balm that healed it. To make a long story short, she founded an awesome herbal remedy company out of that experience. Many who come to LearningHerbs.com often wondering how to learn about herbs and take that passion into the world. We'll see how Jessica did it, and we'll also ask her some of her favorite herbal first aid secrets.

Betzy Bancroft, herbalist with United Plant Savers, 11/16/06

When my good friend Mark worked at Tom Brown's Tracker School, he often talked about a great herbalist who worked there named Betzy. Now, I finally get to meet her! She is an accomplished herbalist in many areas, and she is currently working with United Plant Savers!

United Plant Savers' mission is to protect native medicinal plants of the United States and Canada and their native habitat while ensuring an abundant renewable supply of medicinal plants for generations to come.

This is a PERFECT thing to discuss for the Wildcraft! celebration. I want to ask Betzy all about sustainable and ethical wildcrafting, her journey as an herbalist, and other practical tips and skills for collecting and storing herbs.

(sorry about the little blips and beeps!)

Jon Young, founder of Wilderness Awareness School, 11/27/06

I have known Jon over half my life. He has been a mentor and is a good friend.

Jon is an amazing speaker. We'll focus on how one learns about plants in their ecosystems, how to mentor young ones in nature and herbs, permaculture, health... and...well, get us two together and you never know what will come up!

I am sure this call will yield some magical information, so please do not miss it. I may have to upgrade my teleconference service to take more callers for this one!

Susun Weed, herbalist, author and teacher, 11/30/06

Yes, Susun will spend an hour or so chatting with us about how to look at healthcare, how to stay healthy with herbs, and herbal nourishment.

I also plan on asking Susun about her 6 steps of healing, which has been a cornerstone in our family's healthcare.

MANY of you know Susun from Healing Wise, the required text for the Roots and Branches course. For my wife and I, her book The Childbearing Year was THE book we used during our two pregnancies. She has other books, courses, a publishing company, teaches all over...so you can see why you want to listen in on the conversation.
